What is full color inkjet printing?

Collar and hem area - Anywhere from 1 piece - Full color print!

The printing area is usually limited with T-shirts, but with full-color inkjet printing, the area around the collar, hem, etc. can be printed.
Designs can be freely made anywhere from a single sheet!
Recommended for those who want to enjoy a wide range of designs.

Notes on full color inkjet printing

・ Due to the nature of the printing method, misalignment may occur at the joints between the front and back sides.
Since there will be a 1 cm gap, please place the design you do not want to cut in the center.

・ The parts of the garment that hang over seams and grooves, such as around the shoulders and sides, are more likely to be left white without prints. Please be aware of this.

Precautions for data submission

Gradient and translucent processing

Up-T uses white primer when printing on products in colors other than white.
Please note that designs with image blurring process (color adjustment with transparency including gradients and drop shadows) will be printed whitish due to the white of the priming material.

Resolution and recommended size of data to be submitted

Please send the data for submission at a resolution of 300 dpi/inch. Smaller image sizes will not print cleanly.
Also, please note that the color of data taken with a digital camera will vary greatly depending on the model of digital camera and printer you have.

Don't forget to remove the background.

Please remove the background carefully and finely, as even a small amount of data with non-zero density (even if it was almost transparent) may cause the processor to react and print, resulting in a finished product that is not as desired. *Please note that a black background on a black item will be printed.

About line thickness

Textile items: 1Pt (0.35mm), non-fiber items: less than 2pt
Lines are more difficult to print (and likely to be unprintable).

Be sure to delete unnecessary data.

Even if there is data in the submitted data (that you do not really want to print), we cannot determine whether the data is necessary or not, so the data will be printed as it is in the submitted data.

Data created with business software is not acceptable.

・Excel, Word, Powerpoint and other business software files

・Images imported from a website (due to low resolution)

・Paint software installed as standard in Windows

Special colors cannot be printed.

Because full-color prints can be expressed in CMYK, special colors such as gold, silver, and fluorescent colors cannot be printed.

Text (characters) must be outlined

If a font is on the customer's computer but not on another computer, it will be replaced by a different font when opened on the other computer.
Once outlined, the text will appear in the same font no matter which computer you open it on.

Please process layer merging in Photoshop.

Printing Precautions

We print the design data received from the customer as it is.
Colors and other appearances may differ slightly from your monitor, environment, printed product and your image of the colors and other appearances.

Due to the nature of inkjet printing, white ink will not be printed. (= transparent).
Conversely, the white color on a design will be printed as is on all but white T-shirts.
Please be careful when using your own photos.

Light-colored areas in the design are slightly affected by the color of the fabric (T-shirt). Please note that the finished color may differ when printing on dark-colored Custom T-shirts.

Please note that we cannot accept printing of content that is offensive to public order and morals.

We do not modify or process images.

If you upload an image (photo) with the background removed and use it, the translucent part of the image will not be visible. Please note that these areas will be printed thin and whitish.

Printing on white T-shirts (fabrics that are white) can be printed without any problem even in the case of image blurring (color adjustment by transparency, including gradation and drop shadow), but when printing on products made of colored fabrics, the underlying white color will appear if the image is blurred.

Please note that we are not able to reproduce the data perfectly when you submit the data in AI or Illustrator, as it will be printed in CMYK.

Because full-color prints can be expressed in CMYK, special colors such as gold, silver, and fluorescent colors cannot be printed.

Can you print without the background of the data?

Up-T uses the data uploaded by the customer and prints it as is.
If you wish to eliminate the background, please submit the following.
(1) Use the "Transparency Processing Function" on the design tools
(2) Use the free design service
(3) Upload transparent data

Can you check the uploaded data in advance?

We do not contact you for prior confirmation of data.
Please note that this is only a printing service for uploaded data.

Can you correct or adjust the data after the order is placed?

We do not accept Please submit your completed design.
Please note that we cannot accept detailed positional specifications.

Why are the prices different for white and colored items?

Prices for non-white items vary due to a pre-treatment process called "white pulling.
