What is sublimation transfer printing (for smartphone cases)?

Excellent durability! Transfer print with full color on all sides
sublimationtransfer

This is the printing method used by Up-T for all-surface printed phone cases.
A special transfer sheet with a pre-printed design is wrapped around the case and transferred by sublimating ink at high temperature.
This allows the ink to permeate the case, resulting in a soft texture and vivid colors.
The vaporized particles are so fine that photographs, computer graphics, and gradations can be printed beautifully.

Precautions for creating data for submission (Please be sure to read)
sublimationtransfer
Please be careful about important designs on the sides, corners and roll-in areas.
Due to the nature of printing, design distortion and color shading are likely to occur on the sides, corners, roll-in areas, and near the camera hole, and there may be a discrepancy of up to 3 to 5 mm.
We recommend avoiding the placement of logos, detailed designs, important messages, etc., and recommending the placement of photos, curves, and other designs that can withstand the appearance of being slightly distorted.
Due to a problem in the printing technique, we cannot accept reproduction due to a gap of 5 mm or less.

Always place up to the red border when designing
In the case of a sticky coating design, please place the design up to the red frame on the design tool to prevent paint leakage in the event of a misalignment. When designing, please be sure to place the design up to the red frame.

Please note that designs less than 1mm and complex patterns
Objects less than 1 mm wide (including lines and letters) and gaps of less than 1 mm may be crushed or frayed.

Design areas specified in white will have a colorless finish.
Sublimation transfer does not have white ink. Therefore, the white areas in the design data will not be printed, but will remain on the fabric.

Don't forget to remove the background.
Please remove the background carefully and finely, as even a small amount of data with non-zero density (even if it was almost transparent) may cause the processor to react and print, resulting in a finished product that is not as desired. *Please note that a black background on a black item will be printed.

Resolution and recommended size of data to be submitted
Please send the data for submission at a resolution of 300 dpi/inch. Smaller image sizes will not print cleanly.
Also, please note that the color of data taken with a digital camera will vary greatly depending on the model of digital camera and printer you have.

Special colors cannot be printed.
Because full-color prints can be expressed in CMYK, special colors such as gold, silver, and fluorescent colors cannot be printed.
