12年もの長きに渡ってクリエイティブ・ディレクターとして「GIVENCHY®」を見事に復活させたRiccardo Tisci氏が新たに手掛けるのは英国随一のブランド「BURBERRY®」だ。 2018年3月の就任発表で、まず彼が手を付けたのがブランドロゴの革新だった。
そして同氏が2018年8月に英国を代表するアートディレクター兼グラフィックデザイナーのPeter Saville氏と共に発表したのが次世代のBURBERRY®を象徴するアイコニックなTB monogramである。
本製品はRiccardo Tisci氏のBURBERRY®におけるモダンなレタリングとヴィヴィッドなモノグラムをたわわに実るblueberryと掛けて表現したものである。
